Bawdy Barony Tavern **UPDATED**
Hosted by Barony of Iron Bog - Williamstown, NJ
WELCOME! COME IN! SIT DOWN! RELAX! ENJOY!
Join us in a fun weekend at our Tavern. We've planned something for everyone. A light day board will be provided. Discreetly damp - no pets allowed
FIGHTING - Baron Lawrence & Lord Joseph are rubbing their hands & grinning so expect anything!
FENCING - As summer approaches, the peaceful Barony of Iron Bog is being set upon by thugs traveling through our lands. At present they are dwelling in the swamp across the river, but rumor has it that they are planning on invading our town and absconding with our baronness.
Don Nigel of Castle West is our Marshal in charge of our fencing at the Tavern Brawl event and has come up with three scenarios that includes a no holds barred( other than the safety rules that MUST be obeyed) tavern brawl in which teams from one tavern must steal booty from the opponents' tavern and bring it back to their own tavern. Back alleys, shops, and houses are abundant, and ambushes are suggested. YES! bring your rubber band guns. Death from behind will be authorized for the whole day.
ARCHERY - Baronial Championship!
THROWN WEAPONS!
EQUESTRIAN - We will be playing and teaching some of the Equestrian games at a beginner level, followed by a small challenge course and/or individual games. Activities will be geared toward the equine newcomer, although more advanced horses will be able to find their fun as well. Anyone wishing to bring a horse must contact the Equestrian Marshal-In-Charge. A current negative Coggins test is required for all horses attending the event. Additionally, horses traveling in from out-of-state are required to present a standard 30-day interstate health certificate as per New Jersey state regulations. Paperwork must be inspected before your horse can be unloaded.
